Catherine Rising
Catherine Rising is a home goods brand based out of Rochester, New York and run by Catherine Costanza. Catherine Rising is known for their smudge sticks, which are sold at Anthropologie, Free People, Urban Outfitters, and various other shops. I designed the packaging for their new line of soaps and salves. Catherine Rising has a very distinct aesthetic, which is evident on their Instagram; therefore, I wanted to stay true to their branding by creating a rustic but modern design, featuring earth tones and a sophisticated serif type.

Catherine also desired to elevate her brand’s logo with a new typeface, as the typeface utilized prior had a young feel. I wanted to keep the bohemian feel but bring a more sophisticated, modern touch.
